Makes 12 sliders

Grilled Meatball Sliders Ingredients

  • 1 pack of pre-cooked frozen meatballs
  • 1 12-pack of slider rolls (we use King's Hawaiian Rolls)
  • 1 1/2 cups of tomato basil sauce
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 pinch kosher salt (a scant 1/8 teaspoon)
  • shaved Parmesan cheese (optional)

Grilled Meatball Sliders Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to 350 degrees.
  2. Thaw meatballs on the grill (or quickly in the microwave, per the packaging instructions)
  3. Lay the rolls on a baking sheet and slice them horizontally in half.
  4. Place 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce over each roll, then place one meatball on each of the roll bottoms (12 meatballs total, for a total of 12 buns). Place six slices of provolone cheese, so it evenly covers the meatballs. Top with more sauce. Place the top half of the rolls gently over the top of the meatballs.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter with granulated garlic and salt. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  6. Place the baking sheet with the sliders on the grill and cook until warm and melted (8-10 minutes). Enjoy!
